Can you make three in a row in this strategic tile collection game?

How do you play Trixo?

Start by placing all the tiles face down on the table or in the tile bag. Each player selects 4 tiles at random, keeping them upright with their images hidden from opponents. The game features four types of tiles: 'X', 'O', 'Trixo' blocker tiles, and '->' arrow slide tiles.

  • Begin the Game: The starting player reveals a tile by placing it face up on the table and draws a new tile from the hidden collection.

  • Taking Turns: Players take turns to place a tile and draw a new one, ensuring they follow the placement rules:

    • The tile must fit within a 3 wide x 3 deep x 3 high grid.
    • It must touch an existing tile.
    • If placed on top of another tile, it must display a different symbol than the one below.  Tiles can only be stacked up to 3 tiles high.
  • Objective: Form a line of three identical symbols. Successfully doing so allows you to collect those tiles.

  • Winning the Game: Play continues until all tiles are used. The player with the most collected tiles wins.
